Litigation Paralegal - Plaintiff Personal Injury

La Jolla, CA

A growing and highly respected plaintiff-side personal injury law firm in La Jolla is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team. This position will work closely with the lead attorney and an experienced litigation support team, handling cases throughout San Diego County.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned litigation professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing cases from inception through trial, and is looking to join a collaborative and supportive firm.

Responsibilities

  • Manage plaintiff-side personal injury litigation cases from inception through resolution
  • Maintain and organize approximately 40 active litigation files
  • Draft, prepare, and file pleadings, discovery, motions, and other litigation documents
  • Coordinate depositions, mediations, court appearances, and trial preparation
  • Handle California state court filings and litigation deadlines
  • Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors
  • Support the lead attorney through all phases of litigation
  • Assist with trial preparation and case management

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of California plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience
  • Strong experience managing litigation cases from beginning to end
  • Knowledge of California civil procedure, court rules, and deadlines
  • Trial preparation experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and case management skills
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize competing deadlines

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Option for a 30-minute or 1-hour lunch break
